The Park

The Cottage Lake Beach Club Park (known as “Tract A”) is a private park and beach for CLBC residents only. To download a copy of the park rules and regulations, click here.

The veranda/cabana may be reserved only by residents for private parties (below). Please note all cabana reservations AND CLBC Community Events are shown on the Events page. Please check to ensure there are no conflicting events or reservations before booking the cabana.

Cabana Reservations

The park cabana may be reserved for CLBC Neighborhood residents/members using the link below. Please note that the cabana is very popular during summer weekends, so plan accordingly!

Before submitting your Cabana Reservation, please read and understand CLBC’s Bylaws regarding Tract A (The Park) and holding events there.

CLBC Bylaws: 6.3 Rules Governing Group Functions

(a) No group may have exclusive use of Tract A (the park) for any reason.

(b) A member who wishes to have exclusive use of Tract A cabana and the area immediately around it for a group function must secure permission in advance from the Board member who maintains the Tract A (the park) Calendar.

(c) A member who wishes to have a function of any kind at Tract A with a group of more than 25 people must secure permission in advance from the Board member who maintains the Tract A (the park) Calendar.

(d) No group function may exceed one day.

(e) Group functions of any kind must arrange arrangements as necessary to avoid infringing on parking space in the area of Tract A (the park).

(f) Group functions are responsible for clearing away all trash (including any trash left by someone else) and depositing it in the large trash containers that are emptied by the trash service.

(g) The member organizing a group function is responsible for seeing that all the rules governing the use of Tract A (the park) are obeyed by all members of the group.

(h) To secure permission for a group function, a member must sign a statement of agreement to abide by the rules.

(i) The Board of Directors reserves the right to require a deposit of $25.00 for permission for any function. This deposit will be refunded after verification that all rules have been met.

Payment

The Cabana may be reserved utilizing the following fees:

• $25 non-refundable reservation fee
• $50 fully refundable damage deposit

The Damage Deposit check will be returned/destroyed if the park is left clean and undamaged. If the park is found to be misused or damaged, the second check will be used to cover the cleanup expenses. Checks can be made out to: CLBC

Reserve the Cabana

Before reserving, check the Calendar to make sure the date you want is available.

Note: We’re having an issue with our online booking system. To book the cabana, please email Graeme directly (see below). Please check the Calendar to ensure your date is free! All requests are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Within your email, include:

– Your Full Name
– Your Email Address (that will be used to respond/book the cabana)
– Your Home Address (must be within Cottage Lake boundaries)
– Reason for rental (event type)
– Requested Reservation Date

By reserving the Cabana, you confirm you have read and agree to all Bylaws.
